Y2K Made in Italy Burgundy & Tan Studded Shoulder Bag 2000s

Beautiful mid-2000s Made in Italy shoulder bag in deep burgundy with contrasting camel/tan trim, antique gold-tone hardware, and stud detailing.  Features a curved Y2K hobo/shoulder-bag silhouette, zip-top closure, adjustable shoulder strap, gold-tone synthetic fabric lining, and interior zip pocket with burgundy suede/suede-like trim. Metal plaque inside reads “MADE IN ITALY.”  Purchased in the mid-2000s and stored for many years.  CONDITION: Fair vintage condition with significant storage-related wear. The main burgundy body retains its shape and is in quite nice condition overall, but the tan strap has substantial cracking, peeling, wrinkling, and deterioration, especially around the buckle and attachment areas. There are also scuffs/marks on the tan trim.  There are several areas of white residue adhered to the back of the bag. This came from the deteriorated piping of another handbag that was stored against it. I have not attempted to scrape or remove the residue for fear of damaging the surface underneath.  Interior is clean overall and the main bag remains structurally attractive. Because of the strap deterioration, this is best suited for someone comfortable using it with care or replacing/restoring the strap.  Materials are not marked, so I am not making any claims regarding leather content.  Please review photos closely for condition. Sold as-is.  A really distinctive early-2000s Italian bag with a great burgundy/camel color combination and studded Y2K styling.
